An academic doctorate is earned through admission, supervised research and examination. An honorary doctorate is awarded by our Institutional Board in recognition of exceptional contribution; it is not an academic degree and is not earned through study. We keep the two clearly separate.

No. Study is online and by distance learning, so you can continue to work wherever you are. Our contact office is in Lagos, Nigeria, and visitors are welcome by appointment during office hours.

Duration depends on the programme and your pace. The Academics pages list the range for each faculty. Admissions can give you a realistic timeline once they know your field and background.

Choose your programme, complete the online application, then upload your CV and academic certificates using the private link we email you. Our admissions committee reviews your file and replies.

Typically your CV, academic transcripts or certificates and identification, plus any programme-specific requirements. Files can be PDF, Word, PNG or JPG, up to 10 MB each.

Documents are stored privately, outside any public web folder. Only authorised admissions staff can open them, and the upload link is unique to your application.

Fees depend on the programme and level. We prefer to send you the current fee schedule for the programme you choose, including payment options, rather than publish a figure that may be out of date. Ask admissions and you will get it in writing.

Apex University was awarded Full Accreditation by OICAP-QA on 4 September 2025 (institution ID OICAP-QA/FA/0064/09/2025), with an overall grade of B+ (Very Good). OICAP-QA is a voluntary, non-governmental quality assurer.

Apex University is registered in Missouri, USA as a non-profit corporation (filing no. N001701117, incorporated 18 July 2025). It operates online, with its contact office in Lagos, Nigeria. Both are true at once: the legal entity is American, and the team you speak to is in Lagos.
